Product Launch Kit My Role: Concept; messaging; creative direction; resource management; budgeting. Notes: This upscale, corrugated box with 4-color printing utilized a different approach than some of the others like it that are included in my portfolio. First of all, it unfolds more like you might expect from a much smaller, lightweight media case. This allows the campaign message to act as an enticement to the consumer as they reveal follow-up messages by opening the package. Secondly, this box utilizes one of the main icons of the brand, the blue circle. Originally, we threw around the idea of making a completely round package, but knew that it would be too cost prohibitive. This box was a great second option. It uses die-cut semi-circles on each of the main folds to incorporate the design element into the very structure of the box itself. This direct mail piece included technical data, order forms, slim jim brochures, software, a welcome letter, and durable marketing posters with hardware to hang from your office ceiling to promote the product. Once again, no tracking tools were needed since there were no offers being extended. We simply mailed to all of our active customers to announce the launch of a new product. | |||||||||||||||||||||
