Oversized Mailing

Notes: This type of custom corrugated box with full-color glossy graphics became a staple for Siemens customer mailings. It's important to note that over the years these mailings became larger and larger with regards to the amount of content.

One reason this box worked so well for this application is that it was able to contain a myriad of print collateral and marketing pieces while protecting the contents during shipping. The inclusion of bulky, delicate items like a P.O.P. display made it necessary for the package to be large and durable.

The other reason these boxes worked so well is that they allowed for the campaign look and feel to be carried across onto the packaging. The four color printing on quality paper, was adhered to the corrugated box, and finished the shipper off with a very high-end look.

Shrink-wrapping the box helped keep it closed without using tape and also helped protect the outer artwork during shipping. The bottom artwork of the box (not shown) provided space for shipping and postage information.
