Notes: This ad was really well received and I understand why... it's one of those images that begins to tell a story as soon as you see it.
Readers were enticed enough by the photo to follow up by reading the ad. That particular aspect is what makes it work so well -- you really want to read the copy for clarification once you've seen the image. Getting a reader to this point is so valuable, because you're able to tell a much more complete story than you can with just an image.
