My Role: Concept; copywriting/editing; creative direction; resource management.

Notes: This piece was created as a poster to be used by our customers (audiologists) in their offices. Therefore, the message needed to appeal to their patients -- hearing aid wearers. The concept itself was inspired by the photo which came from my personal collection.

I liked the ambiguity of using silhouettes instead of standard portrait photography because it allows each viewer a more personal relationship to the ad. This occurs by forcing the individual to fill in the blank by visualizing someone they create. This tactic allows the piece to have a broader appeal than if it it had clearly shown a specific age or type model.

You hear him laugh and call your name. And with your advanced hearing aids, you never have to worry that you won't.
