This site offered a great opportunity to experiment with organic search results. By altering content and meta-tags every six to eight weeks, you begin to see which keywords are more effective with search engines as well as fluctuations in the traffic your site receives. As you see an increase in conversions (be it through sales, sign-ups, etc.), you gain valuable data about what your customers are really interested in.
The site design utilizes a style where the main elements and content automatically adjust within the width of a browsers window. For example, the right column will always "stick" to the right side of the window and the two left columns will always stay aligned left. The intent is to keep all of the upper most content visible without scrolling. This is also useful for allowing your design to fit on a variety of different size monitors.
The pitfall to this type of design is if the browser window gets closed up really small. When that happens you can end up with a viewable area of junk. In theory, though, no one would ever try to view a page with the window that small.
